Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using FundFinder (the "Service"), operated by FundFinder ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not available to anyone under 13.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@fundfinder.fund if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Subscription and Billing

FundFinder requires an active subscription to access the Service. Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchases and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Monthly plan: $9.99 USD per month, billed monthly.
• Annual plan: $79.99 USD per year, billed annually.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. All billing disputes must be directed to Apple.
• Pricing is in US dollars and may vary by country due to local tax and currency requirements.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service to transmit any harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute grant data from the Service in bulk without our written consent.
• Use the Service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair the Service.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent subscription requirements.

5. Grant Information Disclaimer

FundFinder aggregates publicly available grant and funding information from third-party sources including Grants.gov and various government and institutional websites. We make every reasonable effort to keep this information accurate and up to date, but we make no warranties regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any grant listing.
• The availability of any grant or your eligibility for it.
• The outcome of any application submitted using information from the Service.

AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience and may not capture all nuances of the original grant documentation. Always refer to the official grant source before submitting an application.

6. Intellectual Property

The FundFinder name, logo, interface design, and original content are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Publicly sourced grant data is the property of its respective government or institutional sources. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without written permission.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Service in a way that harms other users or the Service itself. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, FundFinder and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, missed grant deadlines, or reliance on inaccurate grant information, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
